“Where The Wild Things Are” Trailer Finally Released

After a good 3 years and 4 months of delays, the film fans have been waiting for finally has a trailer. Director Spike Jonez’s (Being John Malkovich), “Where the Wild Things Are” is finally coming to a close and set for an October 2009 release date. This film was original announced in October of 2009 and production photos were up in the Summer of 2007, but creative differences, actors leaving and budget issues halted the production. I cannot say how happy I am that a beloved children’s book of many is getting an adaption that involves little to no CGI. Embrace this trailer, it is quite excellent and they play “Wake Up” by The Arcade Fire, which is so fitting. I can’t wait to be finally put into a new imaginary land.
